Earlier model · Offer Room Rules

This guide concerns earlier Offer Room records. Use the Offer Market guide for the new private offer flow.

Purpose and platform role

An Offer Room is a timed participation service attached to one listing. It records offers and identifies an ordered contact outcome; it does not sell the object, collect its price, hold a deposit, guarantee authenticity, arrange delivery or provide buyer protection.

Opening a room

The listing owner must have an eligible published listing, the required membership or opening entitlement, capacity for another active room and no relevant restriction. The room level, starting range, currency and market are validated by Collectorium.

An included monthly opening, plan-level access, active-room capacity and a paid listing-specific opening are separate controls. Pro may open Levels 1–3, Premium Levels 1–5 and verified Exclusive accounts Levels 1–7. Included openings are consumed only at their exact level.

Levels, value bands and fees

The seven room levels organise supported starting-offer bands; they are not Collectorium valuations, appraisals or promises of sale value. Levels 1–5 cover the standard value ladder. Levels 6–7 are high-value Exclusive surfaces and require a live listing with a clean review state.

The buyer entry price and seller opening price are different digital services. The seller opening is exactly twice the matching buyer entry price. Both are shown before payment in the listing's supported currency; the object price, tax treatment and any buyer-seller settlement remain separate.

The current commercial bands and exact fees appear in the room-opening and participation interfaces. Collectorium may publish a new catalog for future openings, but an already active room keeps the commercial snapshot recorded when it opened.

Changing an active room level

Before paid participation, the listing owner may prepare another permitted level. If an included right applies, the change is atomic. If payment is required, the current room remains active during a 30-minute checkout window and changes only after signed payment fulfillment verifies the exact listing, seller, level, currency and price.

An expired checkout, a changed listing, late payment or other commercial-state drift never silently replaces the current room. The paid entitlement and change are held for human review. After any participant has paid to enter, the room's level, starting offer, currency and offer-step rules are locked.

Entering a room

Entry requires a signed-in account, confirmed email, eligible market and plan state, no participation restriction and a valid paid entry entitlement when payment is required. A user cannot participate in their own listing.

Room entry is a one-time digital service for that room. It is separate from membership and from the object's price. Entry does not guarantee competing offers or completion of a transaction.

New entry reservations close 30 minutes before the scheduled deadline. A reservation created before that boundary may complete, and participants already admitted may continue submitting valid offers until the room closes.

Privacy and identity

Visitors may inspect only the latest eight offers as amount, time, leader state and a stable anonymised room code before deciding whether to enter. Viewer-specific entry state and the current-viewer marker are returned only for that signed-in viewer. Email, phone, buyer identifiers, public profile identity and private maximums never enter this public projection.

Each participant uses a stable room alias. Public profile identity is not exposed in the room feed, and the listing owner receives only the contact identity of the currently active candidate through the controlled conversation.

Amounts and private maximums

Starting values and minimum increments are calculated by the service. A browser-displayed value cannot override the authoritative calculation. A participant may set a private maximum that is not shown to the seller or other participants.

Lowering a private maximum is immediate; raising it may be subject to a brief cooling period. The current leader cannot increase their own leading amount until another participant takes the lead.

Recorded offers cannot be casually withdrawn

Submit only an amount you are prepared to honour. A valid recorded offer cannot be withdrawn through the current product flow. Late, invalid, self-leading and unauthorised offers are rejected.

The record proves platform participation and order only. It does not charge the object price, transfer ownership or create an object-sale agreement with Collectorium. Buyer and seller must agree final transaction terms directly.

Closing and contact order

At the deadline, Collectorium records either no qualifying offer or an ordered set of up to three distinct participants. The first participant is initially active. Only one participant can hold an active contact window at a time.

Ranks 2 and 3 receive a reserve notice but no contact access. A later participant may be advanced only after the preceding window expires and a governed case activates the exact next frozen rank. The seller cannot select a participant and the original order is never rewritten.

The 72-hour contact window

Collectorium opens or reuses a private listing conversation for the seller and active participant. The participant is expected to make contact within 72 hours. Platform timestamps and the seller's response provide workflow evidence.

After the window expires, the seller may open a non-response case from the result workspace. Off-platform contact may not be visible, so any recorded contact or ambiguity stays with a moderator. If the case remains untouched for 24 hours, bounded automation may inspect only the minimized platform conversation and advance the exact next rank only when the authoritative window contains zero candidate messages. It cannot restrict an account.

If all three frozen candidates exhaust the governed contact flow, Collectorium may issue the seller one same-tier, single-use room-opening right. It expires after 180 days, is tied to that outcome and is not payment for or a refund of the listed object.

Conduct, cancellation and restrictions

Artificial offers, coordinated manipulation, multiple accounts used to distort activity, harassment, phishing, requests for prohibited payment data and repeated offers without genuine intent may result in investigation and proportionate restriction.

A room may be paused or cancelled because of listing withdrawal, legal concern, security incident, material error or service failure. Any fee outcome follows the Cancellation and Refund Policy and mandatory law.

If the listing owner closes an active room before its scheduled deadline, the room is cancelled immediately and its offer history remains intact. That seller-initiated closure does not by itself create an automatic refund of opening or entry fees; provider review, the Cancellation and Refund Policy and non-waivable statutory rights still apply.
