Prohibited and restricted listings
A risk-based standard for what may not be listed and what requires additional evidence or local-market review.
Always prohibited
Listings may not offer stolen property; counterfeit or fraudulently attributed goods; illegal drugs; weapons or components whose listing is unlawful; human remains; live animals; sexual content involving minors; recalled products presented for unsafe use; or material that directly facilitates serious wrongdoing.
Cultural property and protected material
Archaeological, sacred, archival, natural-history and culturally significant material must have lawful ownership and export history where required. A seller must not use Collectorium to bypass heritage, wildlife, sanctions, customs or export-control rules.
Restricted and market-dependent
Alcohol, tobacco, medical goods, plants, animal-derived material, hazardous materials, currency-like instruments and age-restricted goods may be unavailable or require evidence depending on the discovery market and applicable law.
Evidence and uncertainty
Collectorium may request photographs, ownership or origin records, permits, serial information or other proportionate evidence. Missing evidence can prevent publication without implying criminal conduct.
Evasion and relisting
Changing wording, imagery, category or account does not make a prohibited item acceptable. Materially similar relisting after a decision may lead to account-level review.
