Public negotiation: proposal and asking history

What cash, trade, seller expectations and visible history mean, and how they differ from private dossiers.

Scope of public negotiation

Public negotiation shows cash and trade proposals with their states on listings that enable this option. The highest amount does not create an automatic winner, priority right or allocation of the object. The seller considers the whole proposal; price ordering does not require the seller to accept it. Opening a public negotiation market and making new proposals are included with eligible Pro and Premium memberships, with no separate proposal or market-opening charge. Visitors may read visible history. Eligibility for a new action depends on the account, membership and current listing state.

Reading the asking expectation and chart

The seller’s asking expectation is a manually updated starting point for negotiation. Earlier expectations and buyer proposals retain their own dates and separate meanings. A declined proposal is not a current commitment available to accept. Chart amounts are statements and events for that listing, not completed sales, an appraisal, an index or a future sale price. A trade proposal is assessed using the object details and any cash difference. The cash difference is not plotted as the trade’s total value. Interest and proposal counts do not guarantee unique buyers, spending capacity or actual demand resulting in a sale.

Private offers remain separate

Dossiers started as private offers, their amounts and private messages are not moved into public history. Private Offer Market tools included with Pro and Premium have no separate proposal or market-opening fee. Public and private proposal options are identified on their submission screens; permission for one does not extend to the other.

The object transaction and platform service

Collectorium does not collect or transfer the listed object’s price, and does not provide object escrow, delivery or an authenticity guarantee. Buyer and seller agree the object, payment, delivery, returns and other terms directly. Off-platform payment does not remove the parties’ agreement or any platform obligations imposed by law.

This article is practical guidance, not a binding agreement. Launch-market terms and policies require separate legal review.
