How to photograph an item for your listing
A practical guide to clear listing photographs, useful detail views, image rights, privacy, ordering and truthful presentation.
Photograph the actual item
Use clear, current images of the listed item. Include a full view, important angles, maker marks, labels, texture and material defects. Do not present a stock or generated image as the item being listed.
Protect people and locations
Remove identity documents, faces without permission, private addresses, license plates, reflections and background details that reveal unnecessary personal data.
Use images lawfully
Upload only material you created or may lawfully publish. Ordering and crop choices should improve comprehension without hiding condition.
Upload, order and cover
Follow the file types, size and image-count limits shown in the uploader. Wait until an upload is acknowledged before setting its order or cover. After saving, check the public preview. Crop and rotation should preserve a truthful presentation; keep an original copy before editing.
A photo still does not appear
If an upload fails or a saved photo does not appear, keep the original file and note its type, size, device and error. This also applies to profile photos. Email support@collectorium.co with the affected screen or listing link; do not send unrelated personal photos.
